Themes

Landscapes

I have always loved painting or drawing landscapes, especially when I lived surrounded by rolling hills. I have many of these available in the studio sale, drawers were overflowing with them. Some of these are tiny works on paper alongside larger pieces on canvas.

Flowers

I’ve always returned to painting and sketching flowers. They’ve made lovely gifts over the years, and while many were given away, a few pieces remain on both canvas and paper.

The Sea

I painted seascapes for many years. They were always popular so there aren’t many left. However, a few medium sized canvases and some smaller studies will be available.

Faces and Figures

People were the first subjects I painted. The Sudanese lady on the archive page was my very first painting. I often draw or paint images from newspapers or magazines, especially of those experiencing great tragedy. Their beauty, despite the horror they endure, moves me deeply. Capturing them feels like a way to honor and remember them.
